Samarpan Yoga an internationally famous integral & authentic yoga that is suitable for everyone, from beginners to adepts. It is an evolving yoga that is grounded in tradition, yet adaptable to the needs of today.

This system of yoga was developed by Himalayan Master Swami Samarpan in the lineage of Swami Shivananda Saraswati , Rishikesh and Swami Satyananda Saraswati, Bihar School of Yoga (BSY), Bihar, with the aim of spreading yoga from door to door and to all corners of the world.

The International Samarpan Yoga Awareness Foundation (ISYAF)

was founded by Swami Samarpanananda Saraswati in Kerala in 2001 and is presently presided by himself.The headquarters are in Tapovan, Rishikesh. ISYAF offers higher advanced studies in Yogic sciences with an academic approach. The aim of the foundation is to provide Yogic training to all nationalities on the ancient wisdom of Yoga, to attain liberation from karmas and suffering. The aim of the mission is to teach people to integrate the science and philosophy of Yoga, Vedanta and Tantra into the modern world. ISYAF is an internationally famous Institute for providing Yoga Teacher Training Courses & Babaji Kriya Yoga.

Samarpan School of Yoga & Tantra (SSYT)

was founded in Riga, Latvia in 2010 by Swami Samarpanananda Saraswati. He is presently the Chairman of SSYT. It is an educational and charitable institution for advanced studies in Yogic and Tantric sciences, providing teacher training courses in Yoga therapy and various meditation techniques. It will also offer ancient Vedic sacred fire rituals for healing purposes.

Samarpan Yoga Publications (SYP)

was established by Swami Samarpanananda Saraswati in Zurich, Switzerland in 1999. He continues to act as Director of SYP. It is devoted to the international publication of text books, magazines, scriptures in the areas of Yoga psychology, Tantra philosophy, and applied Yogic science. It furthermore publishes audio and video material.

Samarpan School of Ayurveda & Treatments (SSAT)

was established by Swami Samarpanananda in Tapovan, Rishikesh as a wing of the ISYAF. He is the Director of SSAT. The aim of the School is to provide and teach holistic health with spirit, through the ancient Thai herbal medicines and Ayurveda of the Himalayas...

Swami Samarpan Ashram

Swami Samarpan Ashram is situated up above Rishikesh (Lakshman Jhula, Tapovan) a 30 minute uphill walk from the centre of town (only 15 minutes going down!). Surrounded by forests and streams, it is a quiet haven outside the busy shops and streets.

The Ashram is growing its own leafy banana garden, has mango, lemon, and rudraksha trees, a vegetable garden is currently being planned.

If you would like to have a "real" Ashram experience, this is definitely the place to be. Our eight rooms can accommodate up to 16 persons, the minimum stay is three days.

The food served is market fresh, there are daily yoga and meditation classes for residents and specialist ayurvedic treatments are also available on site.

Special events at the Swami Samarpan Ashram open to all (please register beforehand!):

  • Sacred Shiva Puja, when Swami-ji is in town.
  • Saturdays:
  • Yajna, sacred fire ceremony with chanting of Mahamritunjaya Mantra for world peace.

      Things to do in Rishkesh and surrounds
      Evening Aarti at Parmath Niketan Ashram on the banks of the Holy Ganges river.
      Take the local bus from Tapovan and visit the cave of the sage Vashista.
      Visit the famous Shivananda Ashram, one of the first to be constructed here.
